Short answer: approve a shower tray colour together with texture, gloss, lighting condition, sample size and acceptable variation. A code or name alone cannot show how a textured mineral-resin or gelcoat surface will look across batches.
Use a retained master sample and photograph it under agreed neutral light. Note whether the sample is wet or dry, because water can change apparent depth and contrast.

Approve the finish, not only the pigment
Compare the walking area, edge, waste cover interface and any exposed cut edge. If the product uses a separate waste cover or trim, approve those components together. A close colour on a flat sample may still look different beside a deep texture or a glossy metal part.
Do not promise an invisible repair or perfect match to an aged installed tray. Exposure, cleaning, batch age and local wear change the reference. For after-sales cases, compare the original batch information before ordering a replacement or repair kit.
Keep evidence with the order
Attach the signed sample record, approved images, finish name, batch reference and change-control rule to the purchase order. If a pigment, resin, texture roller or coating changes, request a new approval rather than assuming equivalence.
