5. Trace escaped water by first appearance
Dry the accessible area, then test one zone at a time only when safe and within the installer’s competence. Record the first place and time moisture appears. Water below a shower may originate at the waste, pipework, tray perimeter, enclosure, wall system or another service.
Do not add silicone before the path is identified. Sealant can redirect water, block an intended drainage route and hide the original failure.
6. Treat a surface mark with the mildest approved step
Use the care instructions for the exact finish. Begin with the mildest approved cleaner and tool, then stop when the mark is removed. Do not transfer sanding, bleach, abrasive-pad or repair-kit advice from another product family.
